The management of Sri Durga Malleswara Swamyvarla Devasthanam (Kanaka Durga Temple) at Indrakeeladri Peak in Vijayawada on Wednesday (December 17) announced that comprehensive online services will soon be introduced to increase transparency and for the convenience of devotees.
Addressing a press conference, temple chairman B. Radhakrishna (Gandhi), managing director VK Seena Naik and senior officials said that darshan tickets, seva booking, prasadam, donations and registration will be made available online soon.
They said online donations, e-hundi, darshan and seva booking will be launched soon through www.aptemple.org and Mana Mitra app.
The temple management said that a devotee, Lakshmi Narasayya Chowdary, donated computers, printers and UPS systems worth ₹ 10.13 lakh and expressed their gratitude for his generosity.
They said that during Bhavani Deeksha 2025, a special mobile application and a command room linked to 300 CCTV cameras were used for crowd control. The five-day deeksha ended peacefully and was attended by about 6 lakh devotees, they said.
