Former Pacer RP Singh recommended BCCi to manage the workload of Mohammed Siri in the same way as Jasprit Bumhrah after his stunning performance in an oval test. During the match, Siraj took nine goals, including five goal raids in the second shift to help India to ensure a six -round victory in the oval.
Siraj played all five tests and bowed a total of 185.3 overs and picked up A total of 23 goals. The 31 -year -old workload has now become the main focus on Bumhrah three games during the series and now Singh has released its judgment on the matter.
In an interview with the former Pacer, the former Pacer said that the management of the workload Siraj will be essential to prevent injury in the future.
“Working utilization will be essential to avoid injuries in the future,” Singh said in an interview with PTI-Bhasha.
“Rapid pitchmakers are exposed to a higher risk of injury when they play too many matches in a short time.
Singh pointed out how Bumrah was able to brilliantly mix at the ODI and T20 World Cup because of his workload and Siraj is also in the same league as the Star Pacer.
“It is because of better management of workload, Bumrah has brilliantly bowed in the ODI and T20 World Cups.
“Siraj is also in the same league. To protect him from injuries, we have to seriously focus on his workload, sooner or later,” Singh said.
Bumhra’s success supported Siraj
Singh also pointed out how Siraj was the ideal partner for Bumrah and helped with his success in tests. The former Pacer said that when Bumrah is not in the team, Siraj automatically becomes the main Indian man.
“Just like Batsmen need partnerships, the pitch also prefer bowling in pairs. Bumhrah tends to take more goals and his unique actions ongoing batter more,” said the former left arm pitch.
“The role of Siri is to put pressure from its end and does it very well. Their partnerships were strange and brought great performance. When Bumhrah is not in the team, Siraj automatically becomes our quick pitch.”
Siraj and Bumrah could be seen together in tests during the Western India series in September.
