The 26 -year -old man was arrested by the Cyber Crime Crime Police in Tiruch for allegedly publishing on the Social Media platform a clip that tried to disrupt national unity, stimulate religious hostility and spread hatred of the government.
The defendant, M. Mansoor Ali, staying in the city, uploaded a video and “false” claimed that Dalit named Hussain Shah, which is associated with BJP IT wing in Jammu and Kashmir, was arrested in connection with the terrorist attack of Pahalgam.
The post was found on Friday’s head Constable Rajasekar from the police station of cyber crime. Based on his complaint, the case was registered under several parts of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhit (BNS) and the Information Technology Act (amendment) of 2008.
