
In the inspirational act of mankind in the middle of a personal tragedy, a 56 -year -old man from Vijayawady gave a new rental of the lives of seven others after he was declared a dead brain after a road accident.
The 56 -year -old donor, resident of Vijayawady, met with an accident on July 7 near the Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium in the city where he was hit by an unidentified individual who rode a triple with a triple rider.
He was immediately moved to Aster Ramesh, Vijayawada, and later moved to his Guntur unit for advanced Neuro Care. CT scan revealed critical head injury and intracranial bleeding. Despite all medical efforts, he was declared a brain after a thorough assessment.
After established protocols, the hospital announced the initiative for the donation of government authorities, whose representatives advised a grieving family about the life of a rescue the potential of organ donation.
The family, which was relocated to the possibility of saving lives even at loss, gave consent to the donation of organs on Thursday and led to the fact that seven recipients were in hospitals: one kidney was preserved and transplanted in Aster Ramesh hospitals in Guntur. The heart was transported to the children’s center of heart sri padmavathi in Tirupati. Both lungs were sent to Kims hospitals in Telangana. The liver was transported to the hospital manipal in the guntur. The second kidney was given by the capital hospital. The eyes were donated to LV Prasad Eye Institute, explained Puthine Ramesh Babu, CEO of Aster Ramesh Hospitals.
Dr. Ramesh Babu called the act as a remarkable gift of life and expressed deep recognition as a bold and compassionate decision of the donor family.
