The 28 -year -old woman was reportedly murdered by her girlfriend, who later ended her life in a residence in Thirupalya, Bengalur.
The incident came to light when her parents who stay in the neighborhood heard a stir and rushed to her house. They found that it was lying in a pool of blood, and the accused was also found dead.
The deceased was identified as Mandira Mondal and the accused is Suman Mondal. Manidra married Bijon Mondál eight years ago. The couple, with his son, moved to Bengalur from their native West Bengal and sought a job.
The probe revealed that the couple separated two years ago. Since then, Mandira has worked as a worker and lived with her son.
Suman and Bijon were friends. They went to Andaman in search of jobs. Suman recently returned and visited Mandira 6. August while she was alone and her son was with her parents.
The police suspect that the duo has reached an argument that resulted in killing a mandiral, after which Suman also ended his life.
Police are trying to find out the reason for the murder.
