The 42 -year -old man was killed by a wild elephant in the hipster in the bumper zone Mudumalai Tiger Reserve (MTR).
The deceased was identified as R. Putta Maathan, a resident of Thottlingi village in Bokapuram. The officials said he walked on Tuesday morning on the road in Bokapuram when he was attacked by a wild elephant. He suffered serious injuries and was taken to a government medical college and a hospital in Udhagamandalam for treatment, but died on the way.
In the next incident of a negative interaction with the human animal in Nilgiris, Leopard entered the canteen on Monday evening belonging to private tea assets in Kot Kotagiri. According to officials, Leopard, who chased the cat, entered the dining room Sivagami Estate in Kil Kotagiri. The man sitting inside the dining room escaped from the area and saw Leopard. The whole incident was captured on the CCTV cameras inside the building.
