Three weeks after eight youths from a star hotel in Kadavanthra were arrested here with various types of suspected synthetic drugs, the Kochi city police on Friday tracked down a 42-year-old man who allegedly supplied narcotics to a gang.
Kevin B. Mathew, an alleged drug peddler, was arrested by the District Anti-Narcotics Special Action Force (DANSAF) near his rented house in Vazhakkala. The police seized 183.55 grams of suspected MDMA and 93.51 grams of suspected ecstasy pills from him. An amount of ₹1,00,000, allegedly obtained through the sale of drugs, was also seized from the accused, police said on Friday.
