
A 33 -year -old man in Puduchherry reportedly died suicide after allegedly experienced tireless pressure of private money who forced him to pay colossal interests.
According to the NDTV report, the victim was identified as a local official Tamilaga vetri Kazhagam (TVK), a political party floating Tamil actor Vijay.
Vikram, a small entrepreneur who also worked in a chicken shop, was paralyzed in the accident and had him unable to repay his loans.
According to police sources quoted by the NDTV, he left a deceased suicide remark named several private money who allegedly pushed him to take an extreme step.
£38,000 interest on £3.8 Lakh loan
In his suicide note, Vikram allegedly mentioned an exaggerated interest rate that was forced to pay money for money.
Allegedly wrote that she pays £38,000 as interest each month on a loan £38 Lakh. This represents a stunning 10 % interest rate every month.
Vikram also paid £6,000 as a monthly interest to another money skin for the amount of loan £30 000, according to his suicide remark.
Suicide Note describes harassment
The victim also described the details of the harassment he faced with these money. In one of the cases, he mentioned that one of the loans sharks asked him to send his wife and daughter to his house until he had repaid money according to the NDTV report.
The harassment reportedly increased after his accident when he became a bed and pushed him and his family into the spiral of debt, despair and fear.
In his suicide remark for Tamil actors Vijay, the founder of TVK took care of his wife and daughter after his death.
Police have launched a probe into the accusation and, according to the NDTV report, is currently identifying and verifying the money mentioned in a suicide note.
However, no one has been arrested yet.
While the authorities promised a thorough investigation, the incident lit a public outrage on social media. Many of them called for an immediate measure to make curbs for illegal money and appeal to the justice of the victim’s family.
