Man found dead with gunshot wound, licensed weapon found

A 45-year-old man was found dead in his residence at Hussainialam police station in Hyderabad on Friday evening.

The deceased has been identified as Mohd Alimuddin, who is suspected to have died by suicide using his licensed .22 caliber firearm.

According to preliminary information, Alimuddin’s children were attending classes while his wife was in the kitchen when the incident occurred. Police suspect that Alimuddin was facing financial difficulties, although it is yet to be determined whether these difficulties contributed to his death.

The Hussainialam police reached the spot after receiving information about the incident and started an investigation to find out the circumstances surrounding the death. Further details are awaited.
