Four men were booked in Madhya Pradesh’s Damoh to allegedly humiliate men by force him to wash his legs Brahmin’s man and drink water when the officers said on Sunday (October 12, 2025).
According to the police, there was an incident on the evening of October 10. In the temple in the village of Satariya below the limits of the Patera Police Station, where Purushottam Kushwaha was forced to wash the legs of Anu Pandey “apologize for sharing an a-prepared picture of him, who was wearing his shoe”.
Damoh Surrastendentous, Shut Kirti Somvansehi told Hindu that Mr. Pandey and three of his relatives were booked according to sections 296, 196 para. B) and 3 (5) Bharatiya nyaya Sanhit (BNS) and the probe was launched.
A video of the alleged incident also appeared on social media showing Mr. Kushwaha, surrounded by the locals who instructed him to perform an act and apologize and wash the legs of man.
According to the first information report (companies), Mr. Kushwaha and Mr. Pandey were involved in the argument 6. October after opposing the decision of the local residents to ban the sale and consumption of liqueur in the village.
After the argument, Mr. Kushwaha shared the “undesirable” picture on the social media, thanks to which the locals gathered in the temple and forced him to apologize to Mr. Pandey and the Brahmin community, the complainant claimed in the company. Mr. Kushwaha was also imposed a sentence of 5,100 GBP.
The opposition Congress killed the ruling side of Bharatiya Janata (BJP) and described it as “shame of humanity”.

“The BJP government should take the strictest possible action against the criminals involved in this incident, so it will be clear message that there is no place for such incidents in society. This country will follow the Babasaheb, not Manuvaad, who favors RSS-BJP,” he added.
