The man allegedly committed suicide after the differences with his wife in Akalgud 27 April.
Manjunath, 31, from the Banadahalli in Akalgud Taluk married Kavitha of Makod in Periyapatna Taluk in 2022. The couple had a two -year -old daughter. After the differences with her husband Mrs. Kavitha recently left for her parents’ house with her child.
Nagendra, Manjunath’s father, in his complaint at the Akalgud police, said he (Manjunath) tried to end his life on Sunday. He was transported to a hospital in Akalgud and later moved to Hassan, where he succumbed.
“The couple had differences. Even after several meetings with older families, the differences continued,” Mr. Nagendra said.
