The man died and another disappeared in the incidents related to the rain in the Dharwad district in the last 24 hours, although the flood situation prevails in some villages.
According to the release from the district administration, a 31 -year -old man was killed and two injured when the tractor rolled over in a stream in Hanchinal Village in Kundgol Taluk on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Shivayya Basayya Vatnalmath. Shivappa Byahatti and Mallikarjun Anchhatageri escaped injuries.
In the second incident, 58 -year -old Hussaainsab Kalasa disappeared after he was a washable drain in Nekar Nagar in Hubball in the middle.
His Million’s rider was saved. Efforts to follow the victim did not bring any positive result.
Rescued
Four working on the Kashinath Khoda farm near Yamanur Bypass Road were saved on Thursday by the police and fire and emergency staff.
The farm was flooded with overflowing Benni Hall (Stream).
The rescue mission was led by Police Gopal Byakod and Commissioner Assistant Sham Hussain.
In the next incident, police and fire and emergency services and teams led by Hubballi Tahsildar JB Majagi and deputy police director Vinod Mukdar saved 100 sheep, which were imprisoned as Nigari Hall, who was in a lot, flooded the barn.
Shepherds Hussaainsab Tahsildar, Chanabasappa Kuri and Moulasab Nadaf, who were stuck, when Benni Hall swallowed near Ingalhalli in Hubballi Taluk, they were saved by a joint team. The team also moved around 470 sheep by converting them to ships.
Three people from the village of Morab were saved on Thursday, who were imprisoned because of Benni Hall’s swelling in Shiraguppi. Teams involved in the rescue operation moved 300 sheep.
According to a press release, 45 houses have been partially damaged in the district.
Meanwhile, Kundgol Mla Patil visited villages affected by rain in the election district and monitored auxiliary work.
The Indian Meteorological Department was a yellow warning for the district on Friday and an orange warning on Saturday.
