Kozhikode: A 24-year-old man was crushed under a bus after a mechanical jack slipped while he was repairing the emergency brake near Sarovaram Biopark in Kozhikode on Friday. The victim has been identified as Giri Prakash, a native of Alappuzha. Another person also sustained injuries in the incident and was admitted to a private hospital. According to police sources, the victim succumbed to severe chest injuries after a heavy vehicle crashed on him.
