Bengaluru: In a cooled violent act on the edge of Bengaluru, a 26 -year -old man allegedly collided with his wife above the suspicion that he had another marital affair. After undressing his wife, the man took his head off the scooter and went to the police station to confess to his crime.
The brutal incident occurred late on Friday evening in the village of Heelalige near Chandapury, Anecal Taluk. The accused, identified as Shankar, was arrested shortly after giving up, the police confirmed on Saturday.
The act was scheduled
The preliminary investigation revealed that Shankar had already planned to kill his wife, and that is why he bought a sickle from a shop near his house.
“The case of murder has been registered and the accused is in custody. Another investigation is underway,” said News Wire PTI officer.
What went wrong between her husband and his wife?
Shankar and his wife, Manasa, were married for more than five years and had a four -year -old daughter. Both were employed with private companies – Shankar worked in Bengaluru’s Koramangala, while Manasa was based in Bommasandra, PTI reported.
Efforts to match a spiral with a tragedy
The tension between the couple has been cooking for some time. Shankar reportedly suspected that Manasa had an extramarital affair. The recent confrontation led her to leave her home and stay with her mother.
On Friday evening around 8:00 pm Manasa returned home in an effort to reconcile and allegedly quoted her daughter’s well -being. She also denied Shankar’s accusation of infidelity, the policeman said.
But what began as an effort to reconcile was spiraled into a fatal quarrel. Shankar reportedly grabbed the sickle and hee his wife beheaded during his argument. He left her body inside the house and went to a police station carrying a cut off his head.
Murder of the trunk of Bengaluru
This is not the first time that such horrible murders have been reported in Bengalur.
In April 2025, a similar case came to light, where Rchessh Khedekar, head coordinator of the project in a private company, killed his wife Gouri Sambrekar, 32 in their house in Dodacammanahali, near Hulimav, and stuffed her body.
Like Shankar, he confessed to the crime, Rrakesh Khed, too, admitted that he had committed a terrible act, and said he was disturbed by his wife, who always offended his parents and younger sister.
