Weeks after Bengalur’s authorities allegedly considered the implementation of “home work” (WFH) on Wednesday to alleviate traffic jams in the Silicon Indian valley, Redditor again asked: “Is it officially on Wednesday the day you avoid working from the office?” The user shared how he tried to book the cabin for 6 km and was asked to pay for £415.
The frustrated user, in the now viral post Reddit, explained how-on-the-day departure to the office in the center-must wait an hour to get a cabin that was only available at an inflated price.
“I know brackets to leave home to avoid this drama, and I’m well in parentheses,” the user lamented. “What next? Should I leave at 7? Then gradually at 6?”
“Cars, ne-AC and AC cabins are charging the same way and still do not accept! What do these guys want? A gold pot?”
He wrapped the post uncertain about the chaos that could develop as soon as he got out and noted that his commuting 6 km usually takes 20 minutes, “but we’ll see what happens today.”
The post triggered a wave of answers, with many users expressing similar frustration and telling their own unusual experience from Wednesday commuting.
Is social media users that respond?
One user wrote: “Check the app to get how many hits get for new reservations at a particular location. The more you connect again, the more it will climb.
Another one added: “I got off at 6:40 am and even felt like madness in traffic. Some of this contributes to cows. So many of them.
Some redditors suggested that the bus strike might have worsened the situation, which forced more commuting to rely on bike riding applications and push the overvoltage prices even higher.
“I think today is a bus strike and tariffs are too high because of it,” one user wrote.
When another proposed the transition to public transport, the original poster shot, “People legitimate fall from the bus, it’s so crowded.”
