A 26 -year -old software engineer, who allegedly upset his wife, tried to ignite in front of Raj Bhavan on Sunday evening.
The accused, identified as Zubair, Hebal resident, was detained by a security staff and handed over to the police of Vishan Juda Jurisdiction for the next event.
According to the police, the incident occurred on Sunday around 16:30. Zubir poured gasoline at the entrance of Raj Bhavan in an effort to move. Security staff who were present on the spot immediately threw water over Zubir and later detained it.
Zubair told the police that he had been depressed because his wife had filed against him in Chickaballapura the case of harassment and attacked. He also claimed that the police refused to file a case against their wife.
Police of Vishan Judge advised him and summoned his parents to investigate. Was booked for public inconvenience.
