The 25 -year -old man was arrested by the Balanagar Police, two years after sexually attacked a smaller girl after taking her to Visakhapatnam under the pretext of “holidays”.
The defendant, identified as Robinson D-Cornel, a catering worker and inhabitant Yaplal, was arrested on Wednesday (May 21) when he visited his grandmother at the Secunderebad hospital.
The police began investigating the victim’s father on May 23, 2023. According to the police in April 2023 during the summer holidays, the victim met with Cornel as she plays outside her residence. Over time, Cornel began to complement her and discuss plans to go out. He used a neighbor to give messages and facilitate telephone calls between them. He manipulated the victim and convinced her to be comforting, and suggested to take money from home to “enjoy the holidays”.
In the intervening Night of 22 and 23. Once in Visakhapatnam, Cornel took her to a friend’s residence, where he limited her and sexually attacked it for two days. A week later, May 29, both returned to Secunderabad by train. He asked her to wait, fled from the place. The estate borrowed a stranger phone and called her father, who saved her and later announced the incident to the police.
