The 25 -year -old manicond woman was reportedly sexually attacked by a man with whom she made friends on Instagram after meeting him personally for the first time on Tuesday, July 29.
The defendant, identified as SidDareddy, a 32 -year -old entrepreneur, was arrested by the Balanagar Police and was arrested on Wednesday on Wednesday.
According to the police, a woman, a software expert, on Instagram was in contact with Siddareddy for about a month. On the night of July 29, he invited her to his room in Balanagar under the pretext of his birthday party. During the meeting, two alcohol consumed together, after which she was accused of sexually attacked.
The woman regained consciousness on Wednesday on Wednesday and realized what happened, immediately dial 100 for help. Around 4.15 in the morning, a police patrol arrived, saved the victim and took the defendant into custody.
The case has been registered and further investigations are underway.
