The 27 -year -old man was arrested on Sunday for the alleged selling Ganja Sadhus at Girivallam Path in Tiruvannamai. The arrested person was identified as C. Sriram of Vijayawady in Andhra Pradesh. Special police teams were created that guarded the city to avoid minor crimes such as catching a chain and robbery of mobile phones. During one such inspection ride on the Girivallam road, the team captured Sriram, who was on a stolen two -round round. When he asked about the purpose of his visit, he gave contradictory answers and could not provide valid vehicle documents. When checking the bag, the team found 1 kg of Ganja. The investigation revealed that Sriram had obtained a forbidden substance from his native and sold them to Sadhus in small quantities. He was arrested and stored on a sub-yail in the city.
