Kagwad police arrested a 35-year-old man for robbing a motorcyclist and recovered the stolen money from him.
The accused has been identified as Sagar Ashok Sanadi. On Friday, the accused held up a biker, Shanthu Chandrakanth Avalekar, near Shiraguppi village and robbed him of ₹2.81 million in cash and took away his mobile phone by threatening him with a gun.
After being tipped off, the police launched a search and nabbed the accused, who was hiding in Shiraguppi, within four hours of the crime.
Kagwad police have registered a case.
