Police Kottayam on Friday in Bengalur in Bengalur entered the custody of Sam K. George for charging for the strangulation of her second wife and threw her body into the gorge in idukki. The deceased was Jessy, 50, the inhabitants of Kanakkara in Kottayam. Her crumbled body was obtained from the gorge in Cheppukulum near Udumbannoor in Idukki, about 60 km from Kanakkar.
According to the police, Sam, a native of Ettumanur, married Jessy in 1994 after his first wife left him. After continuous quarrels, they lived two on two floors of the house near the Church of Ratnagiri in Kanakkara for 15 years. On the night of 26. September Sam reportedly went to the ground floor, where Jessy stayed and strangled her to death.
The following morning Sam took the body to Cheppukulum in the car and threw him off the ravine from the road, the police said. 29. September girlfriend Jessy intimated the police because she could not be approached by phone. Subsequent investigation revealed that Sam was in Karnataka. The police went there and took him into custody.
