President AICC MALLIKARJUN KHARGE became a bit emotional on Sunday and commemorated his political journey in which he saw several ascents and falls.
Mr. Kharge took part in a post organized in memory of the founders of the BLDE Society in Vijayapore.
He became a bit emotional and remembered the loss of his family members during the razakar attacks.
He also remembered how he approached him to become the main minister, but then missed a chance.
Mr Kharge, however, said he was not angry, but instead he was happy because he became president of the Congress of the Bloc to become President AICC.
“In 1999, as a leader of the opposition, I led the party to power; but SM Krishna became the main minister. But I have no regrets because I do not go beyond power,” he added.
