
The Special Court of Nia, Mumbai, liberated all seven accused in the 2008 Malegaon case on Thursday and said that the prosecution was unable to accused without reasonable doubts. All of the allegations include former MP Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, Major Ramesh Upiphyay, Sudhakar Chaturvedi, Ajay Rahirkar, Sudhankar Dhar Dwivedi (also known as Shankaracharya) and Samer Bulkarni.
“All bail bonds are canceled and the warranty is released,” the court said.
The court also ordered the government of Maharashtra to pay compensation £2 Lakh of each family of families killed in an explosion and £50 000 to each of those who were injured.

The explosion occurred on 29 September 2008, when the explosive device connected to the motorcycle left near the mosque in Bhikk Chowk, Malegaon. Six people lost their lives and 95 others were injured during the explosion. Initially, 11 people were accused, but the accusations were eventually framed against only seven of them.
This is followed by the Malegaon Blasts case in 2008, in which seven accused the accused NIA Special Court on Thursday on Thursday.

Two people – Ramji alias Ramchandra Kalsangra and Sandeep Dange are displayed as a sought accused.
July 2009: The Special Court states that the provisions of MCOCA are not used in this case and the accused court in Nashik.
August 2009: The Mahashtra Government moves Bombay High Court in appeal against a special court order.
July 2010: The Bombay High Court will cancel a special court and support the accusation under McOca.

August 2010: Purohit and Pragya Singh Thakur move the Supreme Court against the HC command.
February 1, 2011: ATS Mumbai arrests another person – Pravin Mutalilik. Until then, a total of 12 people were arrested.
April 13, 2011: The case is taken over by the National Investigation Agency (NIA).

December 27, 2017: Special Court Nia released from the case of Shivnarayan Kalsangr, Shyam Sahu and Poe Mutalilik Naik.
The Court also imposes an allegations related to the fact that it is members of the terrorist organization and the raising funds for terrorist acts according to UAP.
October 30, 2018: Accusations framed against seven accused – Thakur, Purohit, Ramesh UpipPyay, Sameer Kulkarni, Ajay Rahirkar, Sudhakar Dwivedi and Sudhakar Chaturvedi. According to Uap, he faces a court for committing a terrorist act and for IPC for a criminal conspiracy and murder.
December 3, 2018: The exam begins by examining the first witness in this case.

31 July 2025: Special judge Nia AK Lahota liberates all seven accused, including Thracur and Purohit, and notes that there is no “convincing and reliable” evidence to justify beliefs. The court says that prosecution has not shown its case beyond reasonable doubt.
