
Malcolm-Jamal Warner, best known for his role Theo Huxtable of the Cosby Show, died at the age of 54 in what the Costa Rican authorities described as a random drowning.
According to the Warner Country Investigation Department, he swam in Playa Cocles on the Caribbean coast in the province of Limon on Sunday afternoon when he was swept by a strong stream. His death was confirmed on Monday.
The investigation department said in his report: “He was saved by people on the beach.” The first respondents from the Red Cross of Costa Rica considered him lifeless and showed no vital symptoms.
The legendary actor, poet and musician, with a 40 -year -old career, also directed television shows and music videos, in addition to playing in a number of sitcoms. He acted in “Malcolm & Eddie” and “Read Between Lines” and the Medical Drama “Resident”.
