Uvashi and director Christo Tomy on the “ulozhukku” files
Malayalam Cinema did not win at the National Film Prize for 2023, which was announced on Friday, but the nodding of several deserved winners brought a lot of encouragement.
Uvashi won the best supportive actor (women) for her performance in Ulozhukkku and VijayaraGhavan won the Award for Best Supporting Actor (Men) for Pokaalam, Althon both played the lead roles in these films.
Ulozhukku, directed by Christo Tom, won the Award for the Best Malaysalam Film. The art director Mohandas Pallakkotti won the best Product Prize for Film 2018, in which he re -created the floods that hit Kerala in 2018. Technically solid recreation of the floods in a set based on empty conspiracy increased the film.
Murli Murlin won the prize for the best editor for his trouble -free work in Pokaalam.
Uvashi Leelamma plays in Ulozhukku, who shares a full relationship with his father -in -law. The woman was destroyed by the death of her son and caught up in the middle of the revelation of unpleasant truths that the woman was deep into her inventory navigating for problem waters.
Uvashi adds a championship class of controlled acting with its use of fine gestures and adds an unusual depth to the scenes. The performance was awarded to her Kerala State Film Award for the best female actress for the sixth time record.
VijayaraGhavan, another seasoned artist, is in the middle of an enriching period in his long career, with a group of role that attacked the actors. In Pockalam, an almost 100 -year -old Ittoopa, who discovers an old letter on the day of his granddaughter, is a letter that threatens to throw a cloud on a happy opportunity and bring the buried secrets of the family to the surface.
VijayaraGhavan, along with KPAC Leela, showed a moving performance as a couple who face the crisis late in their lives. He was able to make the age of the character believable through slightly depicted body movements.
In the category without a film, MK Ramdas received a special mention of the documentary film Nekal-Chronicle of Paddy Man.
