Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko was arrested on Saturday by the police for alleged drug use.
According to the police, the actor was booked according to Section 27 (consumption of any narcotic drug or psychotropic substance) and 29 (establishment and criminal plot) of narcotic substances and psychotropic substances (NDP).
The arrest comes for hours after the actor appeared in front of the municipal police Kochi for questioning. On Saturday he appeared in front of the cops in the incident, allegedly fled from the hotel during the raid against Drogru. The actor visited the police station after a formal announcement issued by police officers.
Shine arrived at the police station Ernakula North around 10 hours together with his lawyers, PTI reported about the quotation of police resources.
The police said that the medical examination of Shine and other proceedings would soon be performed.

Since no drugs were obtained from the hotel, no case was registered at that time in connection with the incident.

Previously, film actor Vincy Aloshious in a complaint filed in front of the film chamber accused Shine Tom Chack of “inappropriate behavior” against her under the influence of drugs.
