Malappuram wins statewide higher secondary law quiz

Students from Malappuram district won the first prize in a legal quiz competition organized by the Kerala State Legal Services Authority (KeLSA) for higher secondary school students.

On Saturday (January 17), a quiz competition based on a law textbook aimed at promoting students’ legal awareness was held in the High Court auditorium.

Liba Nasmin, Hibban and Mohammed Ashmil of Sullamussalam Higher Secondary School, Areekode represented Malappuram district and emerged winners.

KeLSA executive chairman-in-charge AK Jayasankaran Nambiar handed over the trophy to the winners. KeLSA Member Secretary Anil Bhaskar presided.

Students from Ernakulam and Kottayam districts bagged the second and third positions respectively. Malappuram district won the first award for excellence in legal services in 2025.
