The renewed efforts of the State Government to resolve the administrative dead end at Keral University again failed with the vice -chairman, who is in charge of Mohanan Kunnummal standing to suspend the registrar of the KS Anil Kumar.
Vice -President, who on Wednesday, carried out the second attempt by Minister of Higher Education R. Binda, on Wednesday, when he repeated his rejection to recognize the legitimacy of the renewal of Dr. Kumara.
Dr. Kunnummal returned to the university headquarters in the middle of a heavy police presence in the area. After a meeting with administrative officials, the Vice -President learned to transfer the access of Dr. Kumara with an electronic ensemble for the director (planning and development) Mini Dejo Kappen, who was assigned another charges of the registrar.
The vice -chairman also ordered Dr. Kappen to formally announce the Celtron, who was tasked with the management of the university’s digital file system to allow no changes in access to rights without prior approval of the university.
While the campus remained peaceful when the vice -chairman remained on academic soil, the atmosphere changed in the afternoon. The main gate was blocked by a group of student Federation Indian (SFI) activists, which caused the vice -chairman to leave another gate.
Meanwhile, the vice -chairman approved the file for an immediate penalty of 10 lakh on the activities of the University Association. The file was rejected before the day after Dr. Kumar, but the same was approved after Dr. Kappen. The vice -chairman also ordered the financial officer to first release the funds.
Dr. Kunnummal also issued a directive to detention of the registrar’s salary. His order also states that financial liability will only consist of a financial official if any external pressure provokes the payment of the salary.
