Former Indian dough Sanjay Manjrekar said on Saturday that Mrs. Dhoni can contribute more to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) if he continues to capture in IPL 2025.
Manjrekar’s comments came after CSK faced heavy criticism for sending Dhoni on No. 9 during their Failed chase from 197 against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) On Friday, March 28th in 80 to 6. With the required run level for over 15 years, the situation has deteriorated when Ashwin was released to 8-Míč 11 in 16th place.

Dhoni’s decision to hold back when the team was in crisis, many fans disappointed, with Some criticize a 43 -year -old for not taking more responsibility.
“I will look at a larger picture,” Manjrekar told Siar when he asked if Dhoni would have a bat.
“When you look at this year and even last year, Dhoni plays more like a brand than as a player. When they choose XI playing, they don’t choose another dough because there is MS. Mrs. Dhoni is a bonus for them.
“Therefore, I think that if Mrs. Dhoni plays and launched so late, he should be a captain. He does great like a goal, but would contribute more as a captain. He is inadequately used right now,” he added.
While Dhoni’s goal remains as sharp as always, since the beginning of the 2024 season, it has largely been limited to playing a late order portrait. Last year he maintained a strike over 200, but when the highest order collapsed against RCB, he stayed earlier.
Dhoni has shown that he still has the ability to easily clean the ropes, but his late blitz eventually had no impact on the result of the match. CSK showed a small intention even to minimize damage to their pure running level and lack any real rhythm during their slow shifts.
Dhoni resigned as a captain after led CSK to the IPL 2023 and handed over the bracelet to Ruturaj Gaikwad before the 2024 season.
