
In a large intervention, the security forces on Wednesday held several people in Jammu and Kashmir for interrogation after a massive terrorist attack in Pahalgam on Tuesday.
At least 26 people, including two foreigners and two local residents, died in an attack on Baisaran Meadow, a picturesque city of Pahalgam.
Approximately 1,500 was admitted to preventive detention, reported several media media and quoted resources.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired the Cabinet of the Security Committee (CCS) to deal with government strategy.
