The interview began with Vishwakarma asking Jangra how he and his family were coping with the situation.
Responding to a question, Jangra said that the last two weeks have been extremely difficult.

He said the dispute initially remained unknown to his family and people in his hometown.

According to Jangra, his uncle contacted him after learning about the issue. At the time, he believed that the backlash would eventually die down and asked that the matter not be discussed further.
Instead, criticism continued to grow.
He said the controversy eventually reached his neighborhood, where people reached out to his parents and informed them of the comments, which went viral on social media.
‘I regret going to that show’
Jangra said his family later called him at home to discuss the matter.
“My family called me at home and asked me what was going on. I also said that I made a mistake because they scolded me, they understood. Even then he was fine, but when he found out that I was fired from work, he was very tense. Now I see the family, I feel a lot of regret for being in the show. (My parents called me back and asked me, until now, I regretted it. show.
He added that seeing the stress his family was experiencing became one of the most difficult aspects of the dispute.

He says he used the wrong words
During the interview, Jangra also admitted that he regrets the language he used during the show.
According to the video, he claimed to have always had respectful professional relationships with female colleagues and expressed regret for the remarks that led to the backlash.
Several reports and clips circulating online also quoted Jangra as saying that parts of the dating story were improvised during a segment on working with people and that he used inappropriate language while trying to be funny.

Alongside the video, Starvik Design released a statement explaining its decision to host the conversation.

What caused the controversy?
The backlash stems from a viral clip shot during a stand-up performance by comedian Pranit More.
During the audience interaction segment, Jangra talked about the date he said he paid ₹370 for a plate of chicken biryani and expected something in return.
Recalling the incident, he said More:
“I said 370 rupees lage hain, main wasool toh karunga (I spent ₹370, so I have to return something).
Jangra then went on to describe how he considered taking the woman back to his room before insisting that she accompany him to a “dark” park.
According to the clip, the woman repeatedly showed reluctance before finally accompanying him.
The comments quickly drew criticism online, with many users accusing him of pushing problematic attitudes about consent and relationships.

The controversy also hit comedian Pranit More, whose mob video went viral on social media.
