The main minister of Nara Chandrababa Naida releases the Declaration of Green Hydrogen on Monday
The main Minister of Nara Chandrababa Naid, along with other goals, was issued with an ambitious goal of determining the production capacity of the electrolyseer by 2029 by 2029, along with other goals, Andr Pradesh Green Valley Declaration-2025.
The main minister announced during the recent summit of green hydrogen, which took place at SRM University in Amaravati that the state government will bring a statement. The state government focused on the location of Andhra Pradesh as a pioneer in the field of innovation of green hydrogen and sustainable industrial transformations.
The statement – issued together by higher government officials, the leaders of the global industry, scientists and politicians – outlined a comprehensive plan for building the largest Indian ecosystem for the production, research and application of green hydrogen. The aim of the policy anchored in the abundant renewable energy potential and the long coast of the state is to make Andra Pradesh a key center in the Indian transition of the green economy.
The core of the declaration is four basic objectives – acceleration of production and infrastructure of green hydrogen, support for domestic production and innovation, building technical and research capacity and promoting global partnerships and management models to ensure sustainable development.
The key objectives set in the statement include the introduction of a production capacity of 5 GW Electrolyseer by 2029 and reaching 1.50 million tonnes per year (MMTPA) of green hydrogen production. The aim of the state is also to reduce the cost of green hydrogen from 460 to 160–170 GBP per kg to the same year, supported by the development of 25 GW of green energy for transmission.
The central pillar of the declaration is to create an indigenous supply chain, with 60% of electro -election components and storage solutions to be produced by 2030. At least three production units will be established to support this effort.
The Green Hydrogen Valley valley will also include the first integrated ecosystem of the green hydrogen in India, and by 2030 it trains 2,000 specialists.
Research and development will be anchored at SRM University-AP, marked as a state node, where top testing facilities and platforms for cooperation will be set up. The annual summits will monitor progress and promote the exchange of knowledge between the parties. With formal partnerships planned in the Indian National Mission of Green Hydrogen Mission, Andr Pradesh’s commitment to global climatic goals and energy security emphasizes.
A Green Valley Advisory Board will be set up with multiple working groups to identify the best technologies for the production of green hydrogen and its derivatives, testing equipment and storage equipment.
