TTD Parakamani theft prime accused CV Ravi Kumar appeared in an emotional video expressing deep remorse for what he described as a grievous sin and said he had donated 90% of his property to the Lord Venkateswara temple as an act of atonement.
In a video clip he allegedly released, which went viral on social media on Saturday, he admitted to stealing money from the hundi temple on April 29, 2023, and said that was the reason why he and his family decided to hand over their property to the Tirumala temple. He claimed that claims of him transferring some of his assets to individuals under duress were unfounded.
He denied allegations that he was acting under duress. He said he filed lawsuits against individuals who allegedly blackmailed him and spread false information.
Mr. Ravi Kumar also said that he is disturbed by malicious claims about medical procedures on his private parts and continues to suffer mental agony due to such propaganda. He added that remorse weighed on him every day and said he was ready to fully cooperate with justice and undergo any necessary medical examination.
