The Maharashtra showed a significant increase in COVID-19 cases, with the total number of infections recorded in the state since January, according to the public health department. Ten deaths associated with Covid-19 were also reported, officials said on Monday (June 2.
Of the ten deaths, nine patients had basic health conditions such as interstitial lung disease (ILD), diabetes, paralysis and nephrotic syndrome. One patient succumbed to fever symptoms and breathless.
On Monday, the state recorded 59 new COVID-19 cases, distributed in several districts: Mumbai (20), Thane (4), PUNE (1), PUNE (1), PUNE Corporation (17), Pimpri Chinchwad Corporation (2) Satara (2), Kolhapur (2), Sangli (1) (1), sambhajinagar (1), sambhajinagar (1), (1), (1), sambhathajagar (1). CHHATAPATI SAMBHAJINAGAR Municipal Corporation (7) and Akola Municipal Corporation (2).
Of the total cases, 369 patients have recovered, while 494 remains active. This year, Mumbai has seen 483 cases this year, 477 of which were found in May.
The state performed 12 011 COVID-19 tests since January. According to the Public Health Department, COVID-19 cases continue to be reported in other parts of the country and at the international level.
The sequence of the sampling genome is performed by the National Institute of Virology and BJ Medical College, Pune. In addition, in the state, surveys for influenza are undergoing similar diseases (ili) and severe acute respiratory infection (Sari), with patients in these categories tested on Covid-19.
