Maharashtra attracted record-breaking direct foreign investments (FDI) of 1,64,875 Crore in the financial year 2024-25, which is 40 percent of the country’s total investment (4,21.929 Crore), said Main Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday.
Sharing information about its x handle: “I am very glad that the data for the last quarter of the financial year 2024-25 (January to March 2025) were also announced and now Maharashtra has attracted foreign investments worth 1.64,875 Crore this year. 40 percent of the total investment in this country.
This year, Mahashtra recorded a 32 % increase in investment compared to last year, he added.
In this last quarter (January to March 2025), an investment worth 25,441 GBP came to Maharashtra. “This year it was a record for Maharashtra because we have set a new record over the last 10 years. Of course, we interrupted this record in the first nine months. Congratulations to people Maharashtra and I would like to assure people that the state will continue to proceed under the leadership of the main ministers Shind and Itit Pawa.”
