The Mahashtra Government has ordered that all sets will now go through the Deputy Minister of Ekatha Shinde before the CM Devendra Fadnavis for approval is submitted. The main secretary of the State Secretary Sujat Saunik issued an order in this sense on March 18.
This step appears to be a ceasefire between the main Minister Devendra Fandnavis and representative of the main Minister Ekath Shinde. It seeks to revive the arrangement that existed in 2023, which was verified by two representatives of CMS – Ajit Pawar and Fadnavis – before they were sent to the then cm Shind.
“Since July 26, 2023, the ensembles have been moved from the Deputy Minister Ajit Paware, who holds the financial department, to (then) representatives of CM Fadnavis, who held home, law and judiciary before sending (then) CM Shinde for approval”, as stated by the PTI.
This arrangement was carried out after Pawar, who was the then opposition leader in the State Assembly, joined the government led by Shinde along with several NCP MLA 2. July 2023,
New arrangement
Now, with Fadnavis, who took the lead as the main minister, after the victory of Mahayuti (including BJP, Shinde’s Shiv Sena and Pawar-Cledged NCP) in state surveys last year the agreement changed.
All files will be directed from a representative of CM Ajit Pawar, who continues to hold the financial department, to Eknath Shinde, who is also a representative of CM and holds portfolios for the development of housing and cities.
Files will be sent to Fadnavis after Shinde approval according to the latest order.
The Mahayuti regime recorded in the elections up to the 288-member state assembly of land landsthays and in December last year re-established the government.
Fadnavis became cm after BJP packed 132 seats, followed by SHIV Sen-57 and NCP-41.
Since Mahayuti 2.0, there has been speculation about the “Cold War” between Shinde and Fadnavis. Both leaders strongly denied speculation. Political observers, however, said that with new orders Shinde was accommodated and is placed on the government on the basis of proper importance.
There were disagreements on the basis of the Guardian Minister’s habitat in some districts. Fadnavis had to cancel his decision to appoint the ministers of Nashik and Raigad after the objections of Shinde.
There were many cases where Shinde was obviously interrupted. Day after the Ministers Guardian with the appointed government Mahayuti for all 36 districts remained meetings for Nashik and Raigad after Mahayuti.
Later, the government appointed Sanjay Sethi, another main secretary (transport), as chairman of Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation, when hay Transport Pratap Sarnaik wanted to get mail.
Since July 26, 2023, the files have been moved from the representative of the main Minister Ajit Pawa K (then) CM Fadnavis representatives than (then) CM Shinde for approval.
