The girl later told the incident to her mother, after whom they approached the police and filed a complaint against the driver Rickshaw and his accomplice.
Based on her complaint, the case was filed according to sections 137 (2) (kidnapping) and 62 (attempt to commit crimes of punishable imprisonment for life or other imprisonment) Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhit (BNS), the police said. “The probe is currently in the case,” the clerk said.
