
Main Minister Mahashtra Devendra Fadnavis met Rohit Shama in Bungalo Varsha, the official residence of the main minister in Mumbai to congratulate him personally to retire from the test criqu. Fadnavis praised Sharma for his famous career, which lasted 14 years from 2011 to 2025.
The meeting emphasized the recognition of the state for determination and the impact of Sharma on sport. Fadnavis shared several pictures of his meeting with Rohit.
Mahashtra CM wrote: “It was great to welcome, meet and communicate with Indian cricket Rohit Sharma in my official Varsha residence. I extended my best wishes to retire from the test cricket and for the continued success in the next chapter of his journey!”
May 7. 38 -year -old Rohit announced its decision to move from the purest format games. After leaving the T20is last year, it remains only an active cricket in ODIS for India. The veteran dropped the post through his Instagram story to submit his decision.
Rohit wrote: “Hi everyone. I would just like to share that I am leaving the test cricket. It was an absolute honor to represent my country in white. Thank you for all love and support over the years. I will continue to represent India in ODI format.”
Rohit did not have the best time for a recent Indian tour of Australia, where he scored only 36 runs out of three tests. He also abandoned the fifth and last test on a cricket country in Sydney.
In 67 tests Rohit scored 4301 runs on average 40.57 with 12 hundreds and 18 fifties. Its highest score of 212 came against South Africa in 2019 in the international cricket complex JSCA in Ranchi.
When Rohit retires, India is in a tough task of nameing a new captain for their upcoming series of five matches against England.
