He claims that Karnataka has all the right to use his share of Mahadayi Waters, Minister of Water Resources DK Shivakumar on Tuesday has accepted the proposal of some members to take the state delegation of the MLA and leader to the new Delhi to ask the central authorities to provide all the necessary permits to work on Kalas-Banduri-Banduri-Bandururg.
While a member of the NH Koneddy Congress appealed to the Minister in an hour of questions in the Assembly to take the delegation of state leaders to the center to obtain the necessary approval, and the members of the opposition approve his proposal.
Mr. Shivakumar said positively and said, “Let’s go to Delhi. You talk to the Minister of the Union of Pralhad Joshi. Let’s meet the Ministers of the Union in this respect.”
Mr. Shivakumar said he had already met the Minister of the Union for the Environment and Forests of Bhupendra Yadav four times in this respect.
