‘Maha Shanti Yagam’ concludes the nine-day rituals in Tirupati

The ‘Sarva Devatha Moola Mantra Homam’ took place on the concluding day of the nine-day ‘Bharatha Vishwaguru Sankalpa Siddhi Mahayagam’ conducted at the Siddhartha Educational Group campus near Puttur town in Tirupati district on Wednesday. “Maha Shanti Yagam” was also done to ensure peace and welfare of the global citizens.

Siddhartha Group chairman and BJP state vice-president K. Ashok Raju, who presided over the event that attracted devotees from far and wide, said the ceremony aimed to make India a knowledge superpower in the world.

As many as 215 Vedic and Agamic scholars performed the ritual in 115 ‘Homa Gundams’ and prayed for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s health and longevity to realize his dream of ‘viksit bharat’. The ritual culminated with the ‘Poornahuthi’ ritual at noon.

BJP state president PVN Madhav, vice president Kola Anand, secretary N. Ramesh Naidu and Tirupati district president Samanchi Srinivas were also present.
