The Madras High Court ordered the announcement of up to five IAS officers and the common commissioner of the Hindu religious and charity foundation (HR & CE) of the Ministry of Tamil Nadu, contempt for a court pet, after they noted that Prima Facia of the case was delayed.
The first division of the main judge KR Shrirama and Justice Sunder Mohan brought orders for action after the scorn of the moved S. Vinoth Raghanendran, the state secretary of the wing of Bharatiya Janata (BJP) wings. The bench decided to hear this matter another 10 July.
The contempt law was filed against the alleged undoubtedness of orders approved by the first bench consisting of the chief judge J. Satya Narayan Prasad (from the dead) 18 April 2024, in a written petition concerning the affecting property belonging to the Devanathaswam Temple in the Cuddalore District.
Then the contemporary contemptable petitioner (also a written petitioner) also accused the registry of St. Joseph High School to be in the occupation of the temple country. He said that the two reconnaissance numbers of the country on which the school is located actually belonged to the temple.
During the hearing of the reason, the Ministry of HR & CE said that the school also filed a written petition in 2009 and in 2019 it was ordered from a single judge to assign alternative land and measure at least 4.5 hectares, either in Bhuvanagiri Village or any other place with easy access to the main road.
The ministry advisor said that the proposal on the allocation of alternative land to the school was waiting with the state government. He wondered why the government was sitting on a proposal for more than five years, and the divisional bench ordered the government to identify alternative land within six months.
Regarding the interference of other countries that belong to the temple, the judges destroyed a written action in April 2024 after the submission of the legal representative of HR & CE, that a survey was carried out within three months and would be taken if any forfeiture was found.
