With six ministerial anchors free in the Thelangana cabinet, the MLA from the Madig community (partial caste inside the planned caste) intensified pressure on the leadership of the congress for fair representation.
Delegation of Congress legislators, including Aduluri Laxman, Mandula Samuel, Kale Yadaiah and Kavampelli Sayanarayan, also President AICC Mallarjun and General Secretary (organization) KC Vendapal on Delhi on Thursday to pursue their request.
After the meeting, Mr. Laxman, who also serves as a government whip in the assembly, he said there were six MLAs from the community and one of them should have the opportunity to expand the cabinet. He hoped that the high order was taking their appeal seriously. Mla also plan to meet Rahul Gandhi.
Tungaturthi Mla Mandula Samuel said the problem was also launched with the main Minister of Revant Reddy. The MLA claimed that Mr. Venugopal gave certainty that their problem would be discussed and justice.
In demand comes at a time when the government of the Congress in Telangana is under pressure to maintain social and regional balance in its cabinet appointments.
