Deputy Minister of DK Shivakumara on Wednesday accused the BJP of “involvement in politics” and “division of people” as a result of an incident with stone pelting during the submersible procession of Izol in Maddur in the district of Mandy.
He also called on the opposition party leader to ensure the share of the state of funds and check -in for various projects from the center.
Mr. Shivakumar responded to a question about the BJP delegation, which consisted of his state chief Vijayendry, the leaders of the opposition, R. Ashok and Chalavadi Narayanaswamy and other leaders on Wednesday visited the problems affected by Maddur.
When he talked to reporters, he said, “They (BJP leaders) have no other job than indemnity, division of people and firing. It has nothing to do.”
“BJP does not bother to develop. They are only interested in politics. Let them obtain permission for irrigation projects in the state and also to raise funds from the center for stopped projects in the state,” he added.
