
LV Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI) on Monday launched a technologically launched visual center in Mandadam Village of Thullur Mandal in the Guntur district.
The statement of the Eye Institute issued that the new facility would provide residents of Mandadam and neighboring villages Services of Eye Care. It is a permanent free clinic of free walks available to everyone, regardless of socio-economic status. It is the first-from it-second, which is equipped to perform tests of front and rear segments along with teleconile devices.
Telecontultural equipment will allow patients to connect with experts in Terciar Care Center or Quaternary Care Institute in Hyderabad based on need. A trained vision technician (VT) from LVPEI will perform a comprehensive undied eye test. Diagnostic tests for glaucoma and retina will also be carried out on Wednesday, which will also offer home care services for people who are unable to visit the Center for health, mobility and other restrictions.
The center will be open from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 to 18:00. Lvpei launches the Universal Eye Health program in 29 villages in the Amaravati area. Local care for local care was introduced to the local adoption of the Guardians/Community Eye Health Workers, checking them and on the basis of a request, referring to the primary center for appropriate care.
