Disturbing delays in the implementation of an ambitious drinking water supply project 24 x 7 for the town of Kalaburagagi, rural development and minister Panchayat Raj and Kalaburagi district in Bengalur organized at a high level of review.
During the meeting, Mr. Kharge expressed dissatisfaction at the pace and the quality of the ongoing work, which states that the project is essential for the inhabitants of Kalaburagagi and that it must be completed in the revised timeline.
“Contemporary progress is not nearly satisfactory,” the Minister noted after reviewing the L&T team updates and inputs.
He ordered the companies to strictly adhere to the newly defined deadlines and warn that in the case of further delays, no indulgence would be proven.
“There will be no concessions in this matter. If L&T does not complete the project within a specified time frame, the government will cancel the contract and entrust the work to the alternative agency. Early provision of basic public services is not tradable and the inhabitants of Kalaburagi do not deserve anything less,” Mr. Kharge said.
