On Thursday, the local government department will organize the campaign “Green Ride” as part of the World Environment Day to reduce carbon emissions.
As part of the campaign, employees of the Ministry will use the methods of association of public transport and community vehicles on the day for commuting to AZ their offices.
The department joined Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) to operate special electric bus services from Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station in Thampanoor and connect various bus stations for approximately 40 employees in the LSGD headquarters.
Prices will be distributed to individuals and groups that present new methods for reducing carbon emissions.
