LPG Price Cut: Oil Marketing Companies Cut Commercial Cylinder Rate By ₹183.50 — Check Updated Price | Today’s news
LPG price cut: Oil marketing companies have reduced the price of a 19kg commercial liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder by ₹183.50 on Wednesday, July 1. The updated price of commercial LPG cylinders is ₹2,930. The revision marks the first cut in commercial cooking gas rates this year, following a series of increases as a result of the war in West Asia, which has disrupted energy supplies around the world.
This price revision will provide great relief to restaurants, dhabas, hotels and those involved in the food and beverage business. The reduction follows a series of hikes. In particular, commercial LPG rates in India are revised monthly, which tracks the rates set by Saudi Aramco’s Official Selling Price (OSP).
However, the price of a 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder remained stable after last month’s rate hike on June 7, when prices were raised by ₹29, the second increase in four months.
