Meghnad Desai was born in Vadodar Gujarat and was an emeritus professor of economics at the London School of Economics.
In 1992, Desai founded the Global Administration Center in a significant institution.

The leader Aam Admi Party (AAP) Manish Sisodia also paid tribute to Meghnad Desai.
