
The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is all set to open the booking window and close the registration for more than 1,500 ready-to-move-in flats in the national capital. DDA launched this initiative on September 11 this year to provide affordable housing to all sections of the society.
According to a press release dated October 23, there was a lot of interest in these flats when the first phase of the DDA Jan Sandharan Awaas Yojana was launched. All 1,167 “apartments were booked on the first day of opening” on September 22.

In the last phase, a total of 1537 flats are available in LIG and EWS categories. These apartments are available at several key locations in Delhi including “Shivaji Marg (Moti Nagar), Ramgarh Colony (Near Jahangir Pur Metro Station), Rohini (Sectors 34 & 35) (Near Urban Extension Road – ll) and Narela Sector G6-G7, Pocket 11 (Near Urban Extension Road – II, Proposed Rila-I Metro Station, Rila-undli Corridor).”
When will the booking start for DDA’s Jan Sandharan Awaas Yojana?
Interested parties must register before the opening of the booking window in phase 2 of the program. According to the notification, the booking of these LIG and EWS flats will be started from Friday 7th November at 12:00 noon. Although no registration end date is given, the scheme ends on December 21. Applicants will have to pay ₹2500 as registration fee on DDA’s Awaas Portal and you are not allowed to register again after one application.
What is the amount per reservation?
Interested candidates must visit the Awaas DDA portal at to register. Go to “DDA Jan Sadharan Awaas Yojana, 2025” on home page for more details. The reservation amount for LIG apartments is ₹1,00,000 while for EWS flat it is ₹50,000.
In a post on X in Hindi, DDA said, “A hope in every brick, a home in every hope, DDA Jan Sandharan Awaas Yojana 2025 Phase 2, 1500+ ready-to-move-in flats from ₹11.8 million. Safe and dignified housing for an economically weaker section. Booking starts from November 7, 2025 at 12:00 PM.”
The press release further states: “The demand will be issued according to the actual plinth area of the individual apartment. Therefore, the price for the disposal of apartments may vary depending on the plinth area. The preliminary costs do not include water connection fees and redevelopment wherever possible.”
