Three people, including a 15 -year -old smaller boy, were taken into custody for alleged attacks on a 19 -year -old student in Bhimavaram in the West Godavari district.
The incident occurred 19th June and came to light after the video became viral, which forced the Minister of Education of Nara Loket to publish a report on the social media platform ‘X’ to seek an action against the accused.
At the press meeting held here on Friday, Bhimavaram DSP R. Jayasury said that Vadadhi Sai and Bolisetti Veggopal Krishna were arrested in connection with the attack. Another fifteen -year -old was in custody of the police.
The accused allegedly hit a student sitting in a university bus from outside when the bus stopped to make a journey for a parade of Mavoollamm, a local deity. After a heated exchange over it, another student of Gella Ravi Kumar (19 years) got out of the bus and questioned their behavior. These three accusations then attacked Mr. Ravi Kumar, ”said Mr. Jaya Surya.
All accused are natives of Bhimavaram. The police registered the case and the investigation is turned on.
